I’m a busy Mom of 2 who enjoys saving money while still providing all the best to my family. That includes healthy foods – why is it that eating healthy is more expensive? I’ve discovered that I can make many items I would purchase in the store for a fraction of the price. Plus then I know exactly what ingredients are in it – not ingredients I can’t pronounce!
I make almost all my own cleaners and everyday learn something new about how to make foods from scratch in my kitchen. I’ve been surprised to discover how simple some items are to make.
We recycle as much as possible, have a garden and have recently gotten into re-purposing items to give them new life. Not only does it save something from a landfill but it is typically a less expensive option then buying new.
